Image Expo Perth, which takes place at the Claremont Showgrounds on August 28 and 29, will host exhibitors from a range of specialty graphics sectors. The exhibition floor will see a mix of local, national and international vendors who will show Western Australian operators the latest technologies available to the industry.
With the Western Australian economy leading the nation, sign, screen, wide format digital, engraving and other specialty graphics related providers are, in the main, enjoying boom times. But with employment being so strong in the WA due to the mining boom, the sign and graphics industry, like many other industries in the state, is finding it hard to find and hold staff. This has forced many sign related operators, already under the pump with increased workloads, to look at replacing many manual production methods with automated digital alternatives. Image Expo Perth will provide the local industry its best opportunity to see these production options first hand.
Among the applications visitors can expect to see are: wide format digital imaging; screenprinting; engraving; media; sublimation systems and finishing, plus a range of associated industry applications. Visitors will be able to see machinery operating and discuss with vendors the range of options available to suit their individual needs and budget.
While Image Expo Perth is still a month away, at the time of going to print, the following companies have already confirmed space at the show: Anitech; Fujifilm Sericol; Project Engraving & Digital; Stahls Pacific; Nova Sublimation; Signage Accessory Supplies (SAS); Ricky Richards; Ezy Taper; Magic Touch; Starleaton; ASGA; DPS; Tekcad; and Image magazine.
