“Global supply chain issues and shipping disruptions over the last 18 months have seen a considerable volume of printed work return to New Zealand and we want to make sure we keep it here," says PrintNZ CEO Ruth Cobb.

57315f14 0734 d8d7 6bb1 a57f917d2d14“The Printed In New Zealand logo has been created as part of the push to keep things local and support New Zealand businesses, but it is also about being proud of the work our industry produces and letting people know the work was produced in New Zealand,” Cobb says.

"As well as promoting that a job was printed In New Zealand, the logo identifies that the work was produced by a member of PrintNZ and brings with it the assurance it is printed by a company who has the backing of an industry organisation. Your PrintNZ membership number will be embedded as part of the logo allowing it to be traced back to the printer.

“Global supply chain issues and shipping disruptions over the last 18 months have seen a considerable volume of printed work return to New Zealand and we want to make sure we keep it here. Providing your customers an opportunity to identify they are purchasing locally is also powerful for their own brand reputation.

“Our industry is producing first-class work and we need to let the world know.

“There is a small one-off set up fee [$250 + GST] for the logo which will then be supplied in EPS, JPG, PDF and PNG for print," Cobb told association members. "You are also able to use the logo on your website and marketing collateral to reinforce your commitment to the brand and highlight the use of the logo to your customers.”
