The SA/NT PICAs due to be presented in Adelaide on Friday 2 July have been postponed until 19 August after the SA government yesterday reimposed social distancing restrictions and mandatory mask-wearing following a spike in new Covid 19 cases around the country. “We're watching the evolving situation carefully,” says co-organiser Visual Connections.
A delay in renovation works at the Marriot in Melbourne had earlier forced the postponement of the Victorian PICA awards night from 9 July to Friday 6 August.
“To ensure safe and successful celebrations, we've rescheduled the Adelaide PICAs to 19 August & Melbourne to 6 August,” said Visual Connections. “We're watching the evolving situation carefully & will keep you advised - watch this space or go to http://printingawards.com.au for all the latest.”

Gold winners from the state PICAs will compete in the National Print Awards, held during PacPrint in Melbourne on Thursday 30 September.
