“A terrific three weeks across the country with the largest attendance nationwide ever in the history of the Women in Print Breakfast Series – nationwide we hit record attendance with 449 of our industry’s finest gathering to learn, network and share knowledge,” Kellie Northwood, CEO The Real Media Collective, told supporters via email. “I’m sure you’ll all agree, coming together and working through such an important topic was incredibly empowering.

“Early feedback indicates that the topic for the breakfasts has resonated with you, our community, and we are all that much more aware of our own health. It’s not too late to send us your feedback to hello@womeninprint.com.au And as Steven and Liz highlighted – Health is Health. Especially for our Victorian community, stay safe, and be gentle with yourselves, self-care is critical at this time.

“We encourage you to keep the conversation going with your colleagues, friends and family, as well as considering completing a Mental Health First Aid Certificate with Steven Gamble – he is offering a 25% discount to all individuals and companies who attended the Breakfast Series so don’t miss the opportunity on offer.

“If you are feeling that you need someone to talk to you, or some extra support, please reach out to your trusted networks, the numbers provided in your workbooks on the day or indeed myself. As Steven mentioned, we are all part of each other’s mental health family and I, like many of your peers, the Women in Print Patrons and our professional community are here for you."

Northwood thanked the industry for its support of the series. “Our breakfasts series would not be the success that it is without the generous support of our partners and sponsors – Media Super, Centrum Printing, DIC, Heidelberg, IVE Group, Ovato and The Real Media Collective for their platinum, partner and secretariat support and the enormous team of other sponsor partners – Advance, Australia Post, Ball & Doggett, Bright Print Group, Cactus Imaging, Creative Juice, Heaney’s Performers in Print, HP, Konica Minolta, Lamson Paragon, Spicers, Taylor’d Press, and Visual Connections. Without your support we simply could not put these events on for the industry and I send my personal thanks to you all."

“Let’s keep the momentum going and please register for the upcoming Women in Print Share the Knowledge Webinar series (we’d love a sponsor company to help facilitate this so please reach out if you would like to support the webinar initiative), Northwood added. "Our next webinar is - Bridging the Gender Communication Gap, held on the 10th June at 3pm AEST, book today or read more below. Panellists will explore how language and gender can challenge stereotypes, even the ones we place on ourselves."
