Visual Connections’ Virtual online trade show continues to expand its exhibitor list as the show’s opening on June 1st draws near. The latest participants are Eurotech, Euro Poles and, on the largest ‘stand’ – Currie Group.

There can be no doubt that physical trade shows have suffered as a result of Covid-19, with Visual Impact Gold Coast and Sydney postponed, PacPrint put back to 2022, drupa to 2021 and Fespa Madrid on hold until October. Other international shows like Sign China (September) are concerned that international attendance will not be possible while airlines are grounded or limited.
This has spurred on organisers to look towards virtual events to keep their brands and exhibitors in front of customers. Few have proven as successful as the Visual Connections Print, Sign and Display Virtual Expo, which has just added Eurotech, Euro Poles and Currie Group to its virtual floorplan.

Currie Group’s Sales and Marketing Director, Phillip Rennell, says the company is excited to participate in the country’s first-ever virtual show, indicating that they will use their stand to showcase the latest technologies and innovations from their market-leading partners, which include HP Indigo, Scodix, OMET and Horizon.

“The show is well timed as Australia moves past the lockdown stage and into recovery mode,” Rennell says. “While no-one really knows what the second half of this year is going to look like for businesses, there’s real hope we will be able to start moving towards a more normal business environment as restrictions start to ease.
He adds: “Expos provide a vital opportunity to connect and collaborate with our customers, colleagues and competitors, learn about new options and opportunities, and recognise and celebrate what we do. The Virtual Trade Show will go some way to filling the need for the industry connection and dialogue which physical expos deliver so well. We welcome this innovative initiative from Visual Connections and we’re looking forward to being involved.”
Also joining the Virtual trade show is the creative textile display system trade manufacturers Euro Poles, a regular exhibitor at the physical Visual Impact events. National Business Manager Lisa Frost says: “We had organised to be at the Visual Impact Gold Coast Expo in May, however, due to COVID-19 that expo has been replaced with a Virtual Expo. So we've put together some videos to showcase our products and world class printing facilities.”
Another Perth-headquartered supplier, Eurotech, has joined in with its amazing range of signage and display accessories, hardware and consumables. The Virtual Print, Sign, Display and Graphics Trade Show will run 24 hours a day from June to September on the Visual Connections website www.visualconnections.org.au.
