Folk & Co have announced their appointment as distributors of the DutchScreen CTF film which adds to their range of Agfa CopyJet/SelectJet films which they have been distributing for over six years.
The DutchScreen range caters for the small A4 user as well as the larger user who requires up to 1.5 metre wide.
Folks have done extensive research into establishing what products work best with what. Peter Folk, CEO of Folk & Co commented that they have settled on the Epson and Agfa range of InkJet machines running Dye Based Inks, the Serendipity MegaRip which will run on a Mac or a PC and have had great success with these systems using the well known Agfa range of CTF film.
"We have people running flat sheet in the smaller machines and have clients using up to using 1.6 meter wide media for all sorts of screenprinting needs," he added.
"The new pigment ink printers have presented some problems with the existing film so therefore we went looking for an alternative film supplier whose product is compatible with the new printers.
"After more extensive testing we settled on the films from DutschScreen in the Netherlands who also supply a good film for laser printers as well as inkjet.
"We have been appointed the exclusive agents for DutchScreen. Their films are used in the screen print industry as well as flexo and offset.
"We now offer systems ranging from around $1600.00 for the smaller end of the market up to systems that can run 1.5 metre rolls using Epson or Canon engines and the Serendipity MegaRip.
"So for the pigment ink users we will recommend the new DutchScreen products and for the dye ink users we will continue to recommend the Agfa range.
