GJI Group CEO Mark James said recently that the group was actively searching for brands which complement its collective skill set. Signpac will be joining existing GJI brands Customology, recently-acquired Brisbane wide format business Colorcorp, Little Big Design and Conversify. The group employs more than 90 people across various companies.

“The GJI group continues its investment into the digital, marketing, signage and media landscape with the successful acquisition of Signpac,” said GJI Group general manager Marcus Emery. “The Signpac acquisition is strategically important to the GJI Group. Our existing clients are now able to benefit from Signpac’s leading edge digital display technology.”

Signpac – with its headquarters in Hornsby, Sydney and offices in Brisbane and Melbourne - has been developing, designing and installing signage for over 20 years. A specialisation in digital media signage has seen them grow to lead the market in the education sector.

“The Signpac technology and innovation allows our clients to leverage the best from static and variable display benefits,” said Larry Wainstien, Signpac founder and GM.

Signpac will continue day-to-day operations from its Sydney office and Wainstein will continue to lead the team. “We are very excited about joining the GJI Group,” he said. “It gives our product and services a very bright and scalable future plus great career opportunities for our team.”

GJI Group, based at Cannon Hill, five km east of Brisbane’s CBD, was established in 1997. Its businesses span marketing, communication, digital, design, printing, recruitment and interior design. Clients include Bridgestone Australia, FlightCentre, ALDI, Suncorp, Boost Juice and Coca-Cola Amatil.
