PrintEx potpourri – a pictorial wrap

The show may be over but the follow-up lingers on. Most exhibitors reported good business and lead generation, showing that the industry is still investing in technology, which is good.

PrintEx has evolved into a very digital and wide-format event; there wasn’t an offset press to be seen and the Labels & Packaging part sketchily supported – again mostly with digital. Prepress stalwarts were there with workflow, CtP and colour management but heavy metal was a.w.o.l. The only B2 digital press sale announcement was Konica Minolta’s inkjet KM-1 to Sydney’s Imagination – a sign of the times?
