“Sign Essentials has on show the iECHO BK3 model with three cutting heads, print/cut registration, conveyor table, and a host of tooling options,” says Sean Strange, general manager of Sign Essentials. “If you have a flatbed printer and need to be able to cut, crease or route the materials coming off it, this is the product for you. iECHO has a huge range of sizes up to 5.5 metres. We can tailor a machine to suit your needs.  The BK3 is ideal for many applications including print and signage, display, packaging, textile cutting, plastics cutting, insulation plus more.  Live demonstrations are running on the stand.”

The company is also featuring the Lamidesk EasyShift flatbed application table at PrintEx. “The EasyShift is unique as it’s the only table that’s motorised,” says Strange. “Visitors should come and check out how quick, accurate and easy it is to apply vinyl with a Lamidesk. It really does turn application into a genuine one-person job, no matter how long the sheet is. Lamidesks can be configured to suit the individual customer, with options such as illuminated tables, heat-assist rollers and cutting mats all readily available.  If space or budget don’t allow for a Lamidesk EasyShift, ask us about the brand new Compact CL2019.”

Attracting a lot of attention is the Impact CNC Lightning laser for engraving and cutting a wide range of materials. “On display is our standard 1300mm x 900mm machine, fitted with a 130w CO2 laser tube,” Strange says.  “It has great cut quality on plastics, timber, leather, metals and more.  There are other models suitable for applications such as print-to-cut and textile cutting.”

Sign Essentials is a family company, established in 1991 to support the sign and related industries.

“We have considerably broadened our product base over the years but our principle has always been to remain within the field of computerised signmaking and to offer and support only the best products to that market,” says Strange.
