Velvet Jet, a Bordeaux company devoted to developing and manufacturing high quality inks, will introduce a new solution for digital textile printing.
Velvet Jet made a strategic commitment to broaden its solution options, and to offer new solutions for the fashion, home decor and soft signage industries.
This industry is characterised by complex printing processes involving the need to use different types of inks and machinery for different applications. Print houses are striving for better and more cost effective solutions.
Velvet Jet was created in order to support the textile industry with innovative products that will enable more versatile capabilities than currently available in the market. The showcase at ITMA (hall 18 stand A106) will present a new way for print shops to expand their business opportunities when providing solutions to the textile market. The new ink will also allow garment manufacturers more versatility in their printing processes.
"As part of our continuous commitment to offer a wide range of solutions to the digital printing industry, Velvetjet brings a new and a fresh approach for dealing with the current complexity of digital textile printing," said Guy Evron, Director of Marketing at Velvet Jet. "Velvetjet combines experience in ink development with experts from the textile industry in order to meet the industry’s’ needs for mass customisation of digital prints on textiles. At the ITMA show in Milan visitors will experience new inks for textiles, creating a wide range of possibilities for the fashion, apparel, decorative and industrial textile applications".
