Epson will showcase its latest commercial and industrial printers for colour critical textile, label, and sign and display applications, including the new 44-inch SureColor SC-F6000 roll-fed dye sublimation textile printer and the highly versatile SurePress L-4033A short run digital label press on its expanded stand at PacPrint13.

“PacPrint13 presents Epson with the chance to make a comprehensive declaration about the breadth and depth of our technology and support in key market segments on the back of new commercial and industrial product releases over the past 12 months,” said Craig Heckenberg, Business Unit Manager for Epson Australia.
“Epson’s renowned and reliable Micropiezo printing technology and inks are now used in a wide range of colour critical printing applications, from pre-press to photography to textiles and signs, packaging and labels. All of this and more will be on the stand at PacPrint,” said Craig.

Epson’s SureColor SC-F6000

This will be the first Australian showing for Epson’s SureColor SC-F6000 roll-fed dye sublimation textile printer announced earlier this year, which will be on sale after PacPrint13 along with the larger 64-inch SureColor SC-F7000 model.
The SureColor F-Series printers are not only the first dye sublimation models from Epson, but also the first in the market in which every component – from ink and print-head to printer chassis and bulk ink delivery system – is designed and manufactured by a single company. The result is a high-performance dye-sublimation transfer printing technology designed for exceptional reliability and industrial-level production with high quality output up to 1,440 x 720 dpi on all leading transfer papers.
The SureColor F-Series models support an extensive range of applications including efficient production of high-quality soft signage, sportswear, apparel, accessories and customised promotional items such as mouse pads and ceramic mugs. Depending upon the application, both models can output at speeds up to 58 square metres per hour, and both feature an integral and easily refillable, high-capacity 1.5 litre bulk ink system.
While models are already installed across Australasia this will be the first Australian trade show outing for the SurePress L-4033A short run digital label press.
Designed for label converters taking the first steps into digital printing or expanding their existing digital print capacity, large scale product manufacturers and commercial printers, the SurePress L-4033A fits easily into existing digital workflows and is offered with a range of third party pre-and post-press options that can be tailored to meet various needs and budgets.
Also on the stand will be Epson’s industry leading sign and display printer range the SureColor-S series as well as the cost-effective Stylus® Pro 7900 CTP system for fast and simple digital production of aluminium lithographic printing press plates used in short print runs (now bakeless for immediate turnaround on ultra-short jobs).
