Sawgrass Technologies has recently introduced the SubliM solution for the Epson 7880 and 9880.
The SubliM solution for the Epson 7880 and 9880 printers combine an expanded gamut and faster drying times of SubliM ink with the speed, quality and ease of use associated with Epson. The systems feature professional media handling up to 24-inches wide for the 7880 and 44” wide for the 9880 in a variety of weights up to 1.5 mm. A built-in automatic cutting system supports most media types and an optional manual media cutter is available.
Sawgrass offers a refillable, pressurised bulk ink cartridge system for SubliM that regulates ink flow and reduces cost per print. The system has automatic head alignment and nozzle check technology for precise alignment of all colour channels and a built-in sensor reads nozzle check patterns and automatically cleans the print head if required.
Formulated for production and high volume printing environments, SubliM offers an expanded gamut and faster drying times required by high speed printers. With an eight-colour ink configuration, SubliM achieves smoother gradients, photographic-quality images and realistic skin-tones, and more precise spot colours for a wider array of rich, vibrant colours. An affordable Wasatch RIP (sold separately) provides the optimum colour management control and is capable of driving up to 4 machines.
