Visitors to PacPrint09 will be able to see the newly released HP Scitex XP2750 UV wide format printer in action on the CPI stand.
Shane Lucas Director Graphic Arts HP South Pacific says this 3.2m wide UV printer provides the market with a truly flexible signage printer that is designed on a proven industrial platform and ideal for high volume industrial environments.
“HP is committed to delivering products that meet market demands for speed, efficiency and versatility. In today’s signage environment the ability to be flexible with your offer is vital if you are going to stand out. The newly released HP Scitex XP2750 gives Print Service Providers (PSPs) the flexibility to produce a range of signage for indoor and outdoor applications,” says Lucas.
“HP’s extensive range of printers ensures that PSPs have access to new technologies and solutions to drive their business forward. We invite visitors to PacPrint to view the latest offerings from HP Scitex on the CPI stand where our two newest additions – the HP Scitex XP2750 and the HP Scitex FB6100 printer – will be operational.”
HP Scitex XP2750 UV Wide Format Printer
The HP Scitex XP2750 UV wide format printer delivers superior image quality—up to 800 by 635 dpi (1270 x 1600 dpi, apparent)—and production speeds up to 110 m2/hr. Designed to handle high-quality applications the HP Scitex XP2750 gives PSPs the ability to choose 4- or 8-colour printing modes.
With the HP Scitex XP2750 PSPs can print directly on a wide range of roll-fed and rigid media. The HP Scitex XP2750 supports a wide range of flexible media including polyethylene, mesh, vinyl, and Tyvek. And with the optional Flatbed Module the printer can also handle rigid substrates such as foam PVC and acrylic sheets up to 2.5 m wide by 2.0 m long and up to 6.35 cm thick.
The Flatbed Module integrates seamlessly with the printer and its user-friendly set-up makes it simple and fast to switch between flexible and rigid media - typically no more than 10 minutes. And a smart mounting mechanism enables the adjustment of the printhead height to accommodate thicker media.
With robust media loading and collecting features and a heavy-duty frame the HP Scitex XP2750 is ideal for production houses that operate 24/7.
HP Scitex FB6100 Flatbed Printer
An investment in the HP Scitex FB6100 is an investment in flexibility. The HP Scitex FB6100 is able to print high-quality colour images on a range of wide-format, rigid or flexible media including glass, wood, metals, or more conventional media such as foam board, PVC, corrugated plastic, and MDO/MDF up to 50mm thick. The HP Scitex FB6100 also comes with a White Ink kit which facilitates overprinting and coverage of non-white areas.
Equipped with one of the largest flatbed imaging areas available, the HP Scitex FB6100 Printer delivers impressive print quality with POP/POS displays that achieve greater colour density and application versatility. Additionally, the fast-drying UV inks offer vivid colours, a wide colour gamut, and a remarkable print resolution of up to 1270 by 800 dpi on both rigid and roll-fed media.
With production print speeds of up to 100 m²/hr the versatile HP Scitex FB6100 Printer provides an efficient and reliable material loading and collecting system designed for production environments that operate 24/7.
