Hexis is bringing its renowned wrap training courses to Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney next month and there are still a few places available.
The French-based manufacturer, which just signed a major sponsorship and self-adhesive vinyls deal with Daniel Ricciardo’s new Formula One team Renault, opened its Australian subsidiary at Yatala on the Gold Coast, Queensland in March 2018. Its new warehouse holds a massive stock of sign self-adhesive vinyls, printable media and laminates, wrapping films and PPF.
Hexis Australia is continuing to build on its Hexis training academy courses and has built a specialised training facility (pictured below) at its Yatala warehouse to host technical assistance and installation courses.
“Hexis training is well known as being world class,” says Ian Parsonson, managing director, Hexis Australia. “They’re recognised as being the most hands-on courses available. Small class sizes ensure everyone has plenty of one-on-one time with the trainer. We make sure they have too much media available and encourage participants to use as much as they can to practice skills that will translate to any films or installs.”
Hexis courses are run in Melbourne and Sydney South with Stickittome, and in Brisbane and Sydney West with Hexis Australia.
Hexis also runs a mobile client training program and recently travelled to Gympie, QLD to present a one-day Sign Vinyl course tailored for a customer. “The guys, having started at 7am, were still keen to be testing new skills late in the afternoon and draw as much knowledge from the trainer as possible,” says Parsonson.

Hexis Group this week announced a major deal with the Renault Sport Formula One Team for the supply of self-adhesive vinyls that will ‘support the French motor racing team in the implementation of their graphic guidelines at racing venues and the company headquarters.’
Leading Australian Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo recently signed with Renault for the 2019 season after leaving Red Bull. Parsonson says the combination of the French manufacturer and Aussie driver is a nice synergy and mirrors Hexis’ investment in its Australian subsidiary in Brisbane.
HEXIS products have been available in Australia for the past 17 years, and now direct supply through Hexis Australia is also supported by long term distributor Stickittome Australia in Melbourne.
