Wide Format Online (WFOL) attended Visual Impact 2017 at its new home Sydney’s ICC (International Convention Centre). Darling Harbour, was a stunning backdrop for Australia’s largest digital print, sign, display, engraving and graphics trade show.

Visual Impact did not disappoint, as you would expect from the Wide Format Industry the displays and stands were colourful, vivid and impressive. It lived up to its name and provided a real Visual Impact.
The show provided a platform for several new product launches both here in Australia and in some cases the world. Jetmark’s Visual Impact 2017 stand, saw the world premiere of the remarkable new 5m UV LED Vulcan.

Vulcan VIStephen Cummings, Marketing Manager at Jetmark introduced WFOL to the Vulcan. On display for the first time anywhere in the world, the Vulcan is a giant 5m, multi-layer technology printer. It allows for pre-white, post-white or sandwich white options and its advanced long-life LED lamps are designed to provide for less down-time and lower running costs, along with environmental benefits from the removal of mercury and ozone gases.
All specifications and stats aside, the Vulcan is an impressive machine, capable of printing up to 3 jobs across its 5m span at any one time, at up to 2400 dpi.
