I find myself looking for employment after many years of a few stable employers and while a have plenty of experience at production on cnc routers and come from a engraving beginning with general fabrication and a lot of all rounder type stuff i am short on vinyl and print skills. I know Signlab, Profilelab and Casmate and used to know Autocad and Designcad(years sgo) and it doesn't look good not knowing anything about the print side of things. I am not a total novice but how hard would it be to pick up? Router work is getting a little hard to find because most places do not have their routers going flat out, which used to be the case, and the print side seems to always be busy. I guess the standard of inks and materials have improved to level that cost factor is heavily on the side of print work now. I need to get on the band wagon and learn car wraps and such. How busy is everyone after the election?
