Yes !!!!

Its really sad the Government or our own Print industry (including the PIAA) Does not recognize Large Format Printing as a specific field of print.

The new Training Package for RTO's has just been released called ICP10. There is no specific training on offer for wide format. The argument from the powers that be...... the TOPIC...(Ha Ha) is covered in digital print production as it is small and large format.

Digital Print Production is offered as a;
Cert III Digital Production
Diploma Digital Production
(No you can not do an apprenticeship specific to the industry)

I ask this question...

which is the bigger industry. Training is offered in all of these except Wide Format.

Lithographic (Formal Qualifications on offer)
Flexographic (Formal Qualifications on offer)
Screenprint (Formal Qualifications on offer)
Digital print (Formal Qualifications on offer)

Wide Format (NO Qualifications on offer)

This F'n Blows...
