Our client is one of Sydney's more interesting printing companies ... if you could call it a printing company!
It is that, and more - they make a bewlidering array of metal and plastic namebadges for the automotive and marine industries, as well as a huge range of injection-moulded products and plastic-based packaging.
They produce a mind-boggling variety of gifts and souvenirs for the tourist, travel and sports industries (decals, vinyl die-cut labels, etc, etc - the list is endless.
Most of these products, after being manufactured, have to be labelled, decorated, powder-coated, anodised, electroplated or custom-printed (be it via screen-printing, PAD-printing or inkjet) - often with famous-name brands or logos.
This is where you come in!!!
Fuelled by recent growth, this company has acquired new, state-of-the-art digital printing and fabricating equipment.
They need someone who is both proficient at operating digital and/or wide-format inkjet equipment - BUT in addition - has good graphic-design skills to assist clients in producing suitable artwork for their various print and production process.
You'll enjoy working in their fast-paced, friendly atmosphere (conveniently located in Sydney's south-west) - and they will respect your expertise as both a designer and operator.
Package is negotiable but is expected to exceed mid-$50s for the right person.
